COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update – 10 July
Our thoughts continue to go out to those impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, and we hope that you all are staying safe. As we navigate this challenging period, we would like to thank our customers and business partners for their continued support and cooperation.
At Höegh Autoliners, our main priorities continue to be the safety of our employees, sustaining our ocean service and providing the best possible solutions for our customers in this evolving situation.
To safeguard colleagues around the world, we continue to maintain health and safety measures in line with government advice and recommendations. Adjusting the working environment has ensured we keep them protected, whilst we continue to service customer requests and keep business running.
All ports and terminals we call are operating; however, we are still experiencing some disruptions in certain locations due to reduced labour availability. Although it has slowed down operations in some ports, we constantly strive to maintain a timely service to our customers.
We see more OEM plants resuming factory productions, resulting in stronger volumes going forward. We continue to work with our customers to adjust our services to meet the new forecasted demands.
As we navigate this unprecedented situation, we must continue to work together and be transparent in our communication. To find the best solutions for everyone, we ask our customers to inform us in a timely manner of any changes in their business plan.
