COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update – 27 March
In this rapidly evolving and uncertain situation, our priority continues to be the wellbeing and health of our crew, employees and business partners, as well as mitigate any impact on our operations.
In the past weeks, the rapidly developing COVID-pandemic has forced authorities across the world to act quickly and implement stricter measures to stop the spreading of the virus. This has resulted in 95% of Höegh Autoliners’ land-based employees working remotely, serving customer requests and ensuring business continuity. For our crew, travel restrictions has prohibited them from shore leave and crew changes. This has meant that they have had to extend their time at sea. In this challenging time, we thank our teams on both land and sea for their great efforts in ensuring we continue to operate.
With more restrictions placed in ports globally, we understand that this may have an impact on our operations and the industry. Our teams across the world are closely monitoring the latest developments and are working to find the best possible solutions to keep our operations running as smoothly as possible.
We will keep you updated on any specific changes it may entail. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local Höegh Autoliners Representative Office.
