COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update – 27 August
During the past months, the Coronavirus pandemic has affected societies, businesses and the way we live our lives. We are now facing a “new normal” where precautionary measures such as social distancing, and temporary lock-downs are setting standards for our new way of life. As we navigate this challenging period, we would like to thank our customers and business partners for their continued support and cooperation.
At Höegh Autoliners, our main priorities continue to be the safety of our employees, sustaining our ocean service and providing the best possible solutions for our customers in this evolving situation.
Our top priority has been and continues to be the safety our employees on both land and sea. In the early stage of the Corona outbreak, we implemented a wide range of precautionary measures in line with local government advice and recommendations, and so far, they have proven effective.
Our second priority has been to ensure business continuity to service our customers. With the good collaboration with our customers and business partners, we have adjusted our services to meet evolving needs, and have maintained a steady flow of sailings.
OEMs plants have resumed production and we continue to work with our customers to adjust our services to meet the new forecasted demands.
As we navigate this unprecedented situation, we must continue to work together and be transparent in our communication. To find the best solutions for everyone, we ask our customers to inform us in a timely manner of any changes in their business plan.
