A variety of tasks are performed in the different companies and departments. For instance those directly in connection with the management of the fleet are: Maintenance systems, Purchasing, Technical supervision, projects in connection with newbuildings, Safety and Quality Assurance, Insurance, Accounting, Human Resource Management and so on.
In Höegh Autoliners, marketing, operations and support functions are carried out. Our Finance department is active in the financial markets and handles our investor relations. Information technology department keeps themselves and the rest of us updated on different systems and procedures.
Transfer of competence in different areas from the experienced to the less experienced, and from the newly educated to those of us who have been with the company for many years is going on continuously.
